Creating under the name Villagers, O’Brien is back with the announcement of his sixth studio album, That Golden Time. “You Lucky One” stands as the second single drop from the new album; it follows the release of the title track, “That Golden Time.”
The Dublin native has cemented himself as a force in the industry. Featuring his melodic instumentals, “You Lucky One” is a perfect addition to his already vast and diverse discography. This track, in particular, features Irish legend Dónal Lunny on bouzouki. It allows for the track to feel oddly nostalgic and cozy. He has a talent for writing songs about his hopes, dreams, and fears in an absolutely captivating way. It allows for listeners to connect to him and his message.
