Kurt Vile and The Violators rolled into town with The Sadies to play at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on March 17, 2019. The Sadies opened up with some dusty tunes that you could rest your hat on. Their funky groove had you feeling like you were at a saloon dancing and getting ready for the showdown that’s about to go on from Kurt Vile and The Violators. You can clearly hear the Tom Petty and Neil Young influences from him but more with his lo-fi psychedelic Americana vibe. This was definitely a treat for the Nashville scene to have this cryptic singer-songwriter to bless our souls at the mother church.
