Lightning 100 is excited to announce Wolf Twin and her song, “All I Wanted,” as our Local Artist of the Week!
Wolf Twin is a Nashville based singer songwriter also known as Heather Gillis. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Gillis began her career as a musician at a young age. She spent time performing in the Florida and Atlanta music scenes before making a name for herself. She has collaborated with Butch Trucks, a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, and the Freight Train Band. With Wolf Twin, Gillis brings her musical roots of Southeast Blues into a newer sound that blends elements of rock, indie, pop, and blues.
As Wolf Twin, Gillis has continued to experiment with different sounds, creating music that can feel both energetic and relaxing. Her music often highlights her skills as a guitarist while also showing her songwriting and vocal talents. Wolf Twin also allows Gillis to explore new ideas, allowing her to move between different styles while still adding her unique sound. With her latest release, “All I Wanted,” Gillis continues to explore her sound and grow as an artist.
