As Southern Americana continues to grow, local artist of the week, Cody Huggins is firing on all cylinders. Being both solid in the craft of songwriting and heavily talented in guitar work, he brings to mind the rock and roll sound of Neil Young. All of which is backed lyrically with the sorrowful longings that are found somewhere between Tom Petty and Ryan Adams. Coming from a family of musicians, Cody’s roots run deep.
