“Lucky Ones” by Julian Lennon is Dan’s DJ Pick of the Week! Julian Lennon is an English rock musician, and son of former Beatle, John Lennon.
The track is the latest single from Lennon’s upcoming album, Jude. “Hey Jude,” a song written for Julian by Paul McCartney, was the inspiration for the record’s title.
“Lucky One’s” is the fifth song to be released from the anticipated album. 70’s rock-inspired drums and guitar accompany lyrical themes of climate justice. The Grammy-nominated artist uses this song as a call for action, he sings, “I feel a change is coming, I know/A new revolution’s knocking on my door.”
