“All the Time in the World” is this week’s ONErpm Hitmaker Alert! Based in Denver, Kiltro is a Chilean-folk rock band. Integrating Latin influences into alternative music, this band creates a sound that’s unique and forward thinking. Formed by Chilean-American frontman Chris Bowers Castillo, other members include bassist Will Parkhill and drummer Michael Devincenzi. Fez García is another percussionist that joins them for their live performances. Named after the Chilean term for stray dogs/mutts, Castillo explains, “Valparaíso is my favorite city in the world and will always influence my music. There were street dogs everywhere, and I’m a mutt myself.”
“All the Time in the World” will be featured on the band’s upcoming album Underbelly. Making its debut on June 2, 2023, it will be the band’s second full length release. Incorporating classical guitar, the song has the foundation of Latin-folk music. The band utilizes effects on electric guitar to add the alternative component, making this song familiar yet individualistic. Castillo’s vocals are soothing and calm, giving “All the Time in the World” an added cool factor.
