Molly Tuttle, fresh off Grammy wins with Golden Highway, releases “That’s Gonna Leave a Mark,” a fearless solo single. Known for her dazzling guitar and bluegrass, Tuttle explores a bold sound blending blends pop, rock, and Americana. Co-written with Kevin Griffin and produced by Jay Joyce, it’s the first taste of her upcoming album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine. Confidence and attitude shine through a sharp riff and lyrics that don’t hold back on consequences. Playful, a little mischievous, and undeniably catchy.
The rhythm of the guitar pulls you in right away, perfectly framing Tuttle’s magnetic vocals. With lively instrumentation, she blends pop hooks and rock grit while keeping her rootsy flair that defined her earlier work. Tuttle, a highly decorated guitarist, redefined her role after winning the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Guitar Player of the Year award in 2017. Her album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine (out August 15), features eleven originals and a bold cover of Icona Pop and Charli XCX’s “I Love It.”
