Banjoist Andy Thorn and guitarist Jon Stickley have been best friends for years. They jumped into the Jam Grass scene together as teenagers playing in Broke Mountain Bluegrass Band. Since then they’ve gone down different musical paths with Andy joining Leftover Salmon and Jon starting Jon Stickley Trio. The duo still perform together as Sticks N’ Thorns.
