Casey: “Cavalry Is Coming” by The Avery Set
Casey’s Pick of the Week is a song by The Avery Set titled “Cavalry Is Coming.” Released on February 10th, this is the first song from The Avery Set since 2019. An Americana band with southern roots and music, their return to recording and releasing music has been applauded in the Nashville music community. This song was one of the first they created after camping out in an Arkansas cabin after their hiking plans got rained out, and they decided to nibble on some song ideas. After listening to the strong acoustic guitar and heavenly vocals, it is obvious that this song has been a long time coming. The group has continued to tease more music, so keep an eye out!
