The band started in 2019 and had a breakout album in 2022 that catapulted them into the spotlight. “Any Old Fool,” released on April 10th, was a previously unreleased track from their darker and more mature 2024 album, Got A Story To Tell. With a bangin’ bassline and funky guitar, “Any Old Fool” is a proclamation of love. The song has the perfect amount of vocal swagger to draw the listener in and keep them there. “Any Old Fool” is out now, so listen anywhere you consume music!

“Track and Field” by JJerome87 is Stephanie’s DJ Pick this week! JJerome87, also known as Joe Newman from alt-J, has been consistently releasing music since his first single, “Brush Me Like A Horse”. His new single, “Track and Field,” has an Americana and gospel sound blended into a nostalgic track. The lyrics echo the feeling many athletes have as they work to compete at the collegiate level, which is echoed in the music video Newman also released. All of his solo music was exclusively for download on his website, but it will now be out on all platforms on June 26th! Pre-save or preorder his debut album, The Canyon, now!

Casey: “Crickets” by really regular

This week, “Crickets” by really regular is Casey’s DJ Pick of the Week. Based here in Nashville, really regular have been on the up-and-up, and even participated in our 2026 Music City Mayhem! Released April 17th, “Crickets” is the newest addition to their discography. The lyrics echo through the counter melody between the guitar and the bass, getting all up in your face as the song continues. The screaming vocals at the bridge draw the listener in and keep them there throughout the song. Find “Crickets” by really regular wherever you consume music!

Rev. Keith’s Pick of the Week is “Ride Lonesome” by Beck! The talented artist has been releasing music since the 90s, and has been constantly and consistently evolving through the times. The highly anticipated single was released on April 20th, and he has since announced tour dates! “Ride Lonesome” creates a cosmic country sound with baritone vocals and guitar swinging throughout. Beck gives those listening energy to push onward and forward, picking yourself up as you go. Beck will be performing at The Truth on October 31st! Tickets go on sale on April 24th, so keep an eye out!
