Rev. Keith’s DJ Pick of the Week is “If I Die Tomorrow” by Jack White! “If I Die Tomorrow” is the third and latest single from White’s upcoming album, Entering Heaven Alive. Previously released singles from White’s fifth album include “Love Is Selfish” and “Queen of Bees”. Entering Heaven Alive, the second studio LP by White this year, will be released July 22 via Third Man Records

“If I Die Tomorrow” is a melancholic march with hints of country and the Jack White flair. The bridge features a beautifully chaotic instrumental swarm, building up to a climactic pause and calming last verse. An accompanying music video directed by Brantley Gutierrez was released along with the single. The video perfectly matches the song’s eerie, dark western vibe, as White embarks on a journey dragging his own coffin until he eventually finds himself in his own grave.

Entering Heaven Alive is available for preorder here, with both vinyl and CD options. Catch Jack White live on his upcoming North American tour starting this August, with the nearest shows to Nashville being headlining slots at Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, KY and Music Midtown in Atlanta, GA this fall.
