This week on Community Corner, Brother Love sits down with Director of the Nashville Music Academy, CEO of Rose Music Group, and Chairman of the Sangtuary Nashville, Tatia Rose. They talk about how her work in North Nashville includes music, education, and community involvement. They also talk about The Sangtuary’s goal, her experience as a musician and educator, and how her organization uses music and community engagement to help people of all ages.

Tatia Rose moved to Nashville 23 years ago as a classical pianist who loved teaching music. One of her first students was on the autism spectrum, and that experience had a big impact on her. It helped her learn new ways to connect with students and support their growth through music. Since then, she has worked with many children and adults, helping them build skills and confidence.

In addition to her work as an educator at Nashville Music Academy, Tatia Rose is also the CEO of Rose Music Group. Founded in 2006, the company focuses on artist management, booking, and event production. The educational side of the organization later became Nashville Music Academy in 2016. This allows each organization to concentrate on its own goals while continuing to serve the Nashville community through music.

Tatia Rose also serves at The Sangtuary Nashville in North Nashville. The Sangtuary is a non-denominational church in North Nashville that uses music to bring people together and support the community. Tatia Rose’s background in gospel, funk, and blues music helps many of the church’s programs and events. Her music not only brings people together but also strengthens the community. The church is mainly focused on two principles. Loving your neighbor unconditionally and treating everyone with kindness and love. Through a diverse leadership team, the Sangtuary works to create an inclusive environment while also hosting community programs and services such as “The Bag Lunch Drive.”

Another important part of Tatia Rose’s work is partnering with local schools and community groups. She believes in meeting people where they are at and helping them in ways that work best for them. One example is her partnership with Jones Paideia Elementary School, where her organization helps students access music and educational programs that can make a positive impact on their lives.

Throughout the conversation, Tatia Rose talks about the importance of helping others and building a strong community. Whether through teaching music, working with artists, leading a church, or partnering with schools, her goal is to support and encourage people. Her story shows that music can do more than entertain, but it can also bring people together, help them learn, and make a positive difference in their lives.
