Lonesome Joy makes soulful, retro-inspired blues rock spearheaded by Nashville-based singer/songwriter and pianist Stevie Redstone. Lonesome’s Joy’s first release “Roll With The Thunder” plays on repeat at Lightning 100, and we’re excited to finally get our hands on a new single.
Redstone co-write “Wire” with Aaron Lee Tasjan, and renowned Nashville producer Dave Cobb gave the song a nostalgic, electric flair.
“Wire” tastefully combines Redstone’s soul, rock and pop influences. The track instantly maintains a nostalgic feel while still sounding fresh and modern.
“Wire” track opens with sweeping basslines and piano riffs that mirror classic blues. Percussion builds into a peak of crashing drums in the choruses. Redstone’s versatile, soulful vocals soar from beginning to end.
With only two single releases, Lonesome Joy has already made it clear that piano rock lives on.
