1950’s pin up meets honky tonk meets rockstar and as a result we get the wonder that is Eliza Thorn. Thorn resides here in Nashville TN, however her musical style hails from all across the country. She spent a great amount of time traveling the U.S.A and busking in different states sparking her inspiration and love for storytelling through song. Her sound though unique carries elements of western country to New Orleans blues and beyond.
“Fool” tells the story of a woman heartbroken by a past lover. A ragtime piano melody dances through the song behind Thorn’s fun and catchy lyrics. Her voice though warm possesses a unique sense of grit and attitude, capturing the elements of anger and sass perfectly. It remains clear that no “Fool” will break Thorn’s bohemian spirit.
Thorn’s debut album ‘Somebody New’ will be out on September 13, 2024. A colorful music video accompanies the release of her single which contains themes of southern summer nights, rowdy company, good food, and revenge. Check it out below!
