Summer NAMM: The Aquaducks – Interview & Performance

Lightning 100 and Casio America, Inc. teamed up on June 23rd and 24th to broadcast live from 2016 Summer NAMM convention here in Nashville. NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, is the industry’s largest and diverse music products tradeshow and returned to Nashville’s Music City Center. DJ Lt. Dan Buckley was live on-air and featured resident expert Mike from Casio Music Gear, local musicians and one of Lightning 100’s favorite bands The Aquaducks. On July 24th, The Aquaducks stopped by to perform on the Casio Celviano GP-500 Grand Hybrid piano that has full length wooden grand piano keys. The keys are tied to three grand piano sound options, developed with German piano manufacturer C. Bechstein for the ultimate, authentic user experience. The Aquaducks performed stripped-down versions of singles “Earthquake” and “Nightlife” using the GP-500, listen to their Summer NAMM 2016 performance here:
