This morning Drew Holcomb stopped by the Volume.com studio for a performance and interview with Jayson and Mel! The Memphis native is celebrating his 40th birthday today by having a huge celebration at the Ryman tonight and tomorrow! During his visit, Drew sang “I Need to Go Somewhere,” and he took us back in time with a performance of “Tennessee.”
For his birthday party concerts, Drew is getting the whole neighborhood involved with a star-studded line up and guest list! The Americana singer/songwriter offered a reflective outlook on his celebratory plans. “When I think about playing the Ryman, I always get pretty overwhelmed with emotion cause it’s such a dream to get to play there.”
