Passion Pitperforms “Take A Walk” live at Marathon Music Works. You’ve been hearing Passion Pit on Lightning 100 since Manners debut out in 2009. Tune in to hear their new song of Glossary entitled “Take a Walk”. You might recognize the song from TV from the Taco Bell commercial. Lightning 100 does not endorse eating Taco Bell’s Doritos® Locos Tacos Supreme in any way. Check out this video we shot with Passion Pit live sponsored by Griffin Technologyat Marathon Music Works.
Passion Pit performs an intimate set in front of a few lucky fans during the Griffin Technology‘s Pre-Show Live event at Marathon Music Works. Click here to see photos from the event or watch a live version of “Sleepyhead” and “Constant Converstation” at the event. Griffin Technology also create an exclusive iphone case for the event!
It was a tough ticket to get your hands on the other night at the Cannery Ballroom, Denver’s own The Lumineers sold out the venue in a matter of days. If you’re a big fan of the band, you might want to check out their Lightning 100 in-studio performance. The band was kind enough to play for 20 lucky listeners. Listen for “Classy Girls,” “Ho Hey” and “Stubborn Love.” You can listen to the audio below or click here to see the HD videos from right outside our studio!
Justin Townes Earle stopped by the studio to record an episode of Music Business Radio. He showed up a little early so we got him to play a few songs on air and talk about his new record “Nothing’s Ever Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now.” Check out these performances of “Memphis in the Rain” and “Am I That Lonely Tonight?”
What do you think of the new album? We are playing “Look the Other Way”, any other tracks we should add? We’ve been a big fan of Justin Townes Earle since the beginning of his career. Check out some of our earlier in-studio performances with over 40,000 views.
Local artist Jessie Baylin stopped by the Lightning 100 studio after performing at Nashville Sunday Night. Jessie Baylin just released her debut album, “Little Spark” on Verve Forcast. Jessie was able to perform the song “Hurry Hurry” in the studio before the tornado siren/EAS warning which interrupted her during “I Feel That Too.” Kind of ironic songs to be playing during a tornado warning? We found a version of the song filmed at Grimey’s New and Preloved Music. Special thanks to NashvilleLance for filming at Grimey’s!
Yeah, I said it. This is good. Saw them last week and was so blown away by the voice and the energy. Looking forward to much, much, MUCH, more music from these folks. Prepare yourself for something real.

Could this be their next single? Want to start hearing it on Lightning 100? Let us know and share these videos with your friends!
